Janet Mullarney has exhibited extensively in both Ireland and abroad and has held solo exhibi- tions at venues including IMMA, Irish Museum of Modern Art; Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane; the Royal Hibernian Academy; Crawford Municipal Gallery; Limerick City Gallery; The Model, Sligo; The Orchard Gallery, Derry; MACO, Museo de Arte Contemporanea, Oaxaca, Mexico; Casa Masaccio Arte Contemporanea, San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy; Group exhibitions include the National Gallery of Ireland, EV+A, Limerick,; The Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador, Can- ada; Millennium Art Museum, Beijing; Shanghai Art Museum, China; Palazzo delle Papesse, Siena; Palazzo Mediceo di Seravezza, Italy.

Mullarney’s sculpture is part of public collections such as the Arts Council, Irish Museum of Modern Art, IMMA; Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane; Limerick City Gallery of Art; O ce of Public Works, Butler Gallery, Niland Gallery and Allied Irish Banks. Work to be singled out in public spaces are: Gròˆningen, Markt Plazt, Holland; Royal Victoria Hospitals, Belfast; St. Ultans Primary School, Bally- fermot.

She has been awarded the RUA Perpetual Silver Medal, 2009; The RHA Sculpture Award 2008; Irish American Cultural Institute’s O’Malley Award 2005; The Pollock Krasner Award 1998; Dept.of Foreign A airs: 2008/2003/2001/2000/1991/1989.
